I am proud to announce that Wolfgang was offered and has excepted a job at the brand new 'Marriott EDITION' hotel in Waikiki! Needless to say, he is VERY excited about it, for a couple of reasons:
a. He never again has to work in the Polynesian Cultural Center
b. He's been trying really hard for months now trying to get in on this 'hip' new hotel concept from Marriott
c. It gets his foot in the door in the industry even before he graduates...etc etc.
The hotel hasn't even opened yet, and he'll start working at the beginning of Sept. If you're bored and interested, you can learn more about it here. Fair warning though, to be completely honest the website is actually pretty lame, because they are super hush hush about everything still.
Anyway, I'm excited for him and look forward to what this might bring in the future.

oh my HECK!! that is SO dang awesome. it'll be so much better than the PCC. so what will he be doing there? and does that mean you'll be staying in hawaii for awhile after graduation?
That's my son-in-law! Great opportunity and he'll do wonderful. Congrats.
