Do I qualify?

So I was looking at this website (thanks Jess) for a change of job during the summer, and this was one of the jobs that is available:

Seeking brainy and attractive Egg Donor, 10K++

I am an accomplished 40ish year old US Physician living in the US and Asia, and would like to find a mixed Asian looking egg donor. If you are super smart, talented, beautiful and have done great things in the world, please contact me. I plan to raise the children in a very warm and loving environment and have all the support and resources one could hope for.

Ideally you might have graduated at the top of your class, attended a competitive University, are athletic and gifted in the arts, and have an IQ of over 130. You should also be very attractive, between 18-30 years old, in good health, with a healthy family history.

In relation to compensation, I am happy to be generous for the right donor. You would be compensated $10,000++ for your egg donation. For the right donor, I would be willing to financially support you in freezing your own eggs for your own personal use, offer you comprehensive genetic testing for your own purposes, and set up an educational fund for your own children. The value of these added benefits could be upto $50,000. I am offering this in hopes that this opportunity could be mutually beneficial especially for that amazing woman that would have never considered being an egg donor.

I DO look Asian you know...

Good things

Sorry the posts lately haven't been all that entertaining. But just for update's sake and something to write about, here are some things that made our MLK weekend enjoyable:

1. Had some friends over for dinner Sunday night, then had even more friends over for some games, it was a lot of fun!

2. Went to the beach on Monday, and even though the weather wasn't amazing, the waves were spectacular and fun to watch, and I still managed to get sunburned. I've never been so happy to get burned, because it's been a LONG time since we've been to the beach (relatively speaking I guess, considering out circumstances).

3. Before beach time we got acai bowls, mmm MM!

...and that's all my little fried brain can think of right now. Other good news include Wolfgang will be starting his new job (hopefully) soon, whooohooo!!!! Also I'm on the road to getting back into shape. We exercised w/ Janelle yesterday via our Bob DVD, and today I went to the fitness center....then dominated 4 chocolate chip cookies. don't judge. :)

and even MORE great news, is that tomorrow we will be taking pictures for, and turning in, the GREEN CARD APPLICATION! FINALLY! whoooooohooo! Time to get that boy legal! ;)

Sincerely, Me

Dear Immune System,

Look, I know we've had a very long relationship, 23 years to be exact. In the beginning we started out rough, but we survived, and from there on we've had a few big bumps here and there, with a side of your occasional cold every few months, or less. I understand that you could be a whole lot worse, but there is something I need to bring up that has been hurting me for a while now.

You may not understand, but letting me be susceptible to colds/sinus infections/whatever-crap every week and a half or so for the last couple of months, is totally unacceptable. You know they do say, you need to put in a full100% into a relationship, and not just 50/50, it just doesn't work that way. I hate to be threatening, but if I could I would sell you, immediately, on ebay or even craiglist, but recycling you would probably be the best choice. Seeing that I can't, it looks like we are just going to have to work this out, so please, step it up a little, ok?

Sincerely Yours,
Jaimie

Christmas Break

Christmas Break was simply wonderful. It was nice and relaxing, and very therapeutic just to be able to spend lots of time with the fam. I'm grateful for the time we had, but it still didn't seem like enough time at all! Here's a little recap in pictures of some things we did over the break

After two full days of traveling due to the fact that(one flight was cancelled and we had to stay in the airport for 8 1/2 hours...it was a party in the PHX and it finally ended with flying into Page on the world's most ghetto plane ride. You could even seen into the cockpit!

Finally showing Wolfgang horseshoe bend with the family

Fondue goodness (thanks Danielle!)
some really attractive pictures...

Going to the St. George temple for the first time since we got married, and surprisingly crossing paths with some friends of ours in the temple from Hawaii we haven't seen in over a year! They got married too since we've seen them, and now live in Rexburg.
Ben and Kara's beautiful wedding and reception in Denver!
Ben is a good friend of ours from school that just graduated. Kara is an awesome girl and we hope to spend more time with them some day

Look at that BIG grin on Ben's face! I've never seen him smile THAT big! They were so cute
Visted the Mesa AZ temple almost on the exact date that my parents were sealed there!

...and much more that we don't have pictures of. We really had a great time and it was very hard to leave, and now we're back to the hustle and bustle of school and jobs. ugh. but we only have ONE year left! whoohoo!
