I never paint my finger nails; I can't even remember the last time I did it, because I never liked to.
This is not to be confused with painting my toenails, because I do that much more often, but I'm the kind of person that doesn't really keep up with them consistently either.
Wow, am I making myself sound like a really sloppy unfeminine person? Maybe.
Anyway, I decided to paint my {finger} nails the other day, and again today. And you know what? I was reminded of why I DON'T do that. It's so incredibly annoying. You have to waste so much time just waiting for it to dry {I know you are all thinking, "she has all the time in the world anyway, right?" Yeah, you're right, thanks.}, put on another coat, and another {the only nail polish I own is really light, so you need a few coats} then that top coat stuff. Then you know what happens?
You smudge them, scrape them, whatever-to-them within 15 minutes or so.
Ugh.
Not to mention, they weren't painted on perfect in the first place.
My polish is probably ancient so that probably doesn't help, but I'm pretty sure I'm never going to paint my nails again. Or...maybe I'll try buying new fresh polish? Probably not for a while.
