I want to....

Today I made a list of "things I want to do before I die." {bucket list, right? I remember that movie... ;) }

I've made these before,

One for a class I took {somewhere in a binder at home},

One strictly for Hawaii that Wolfgang and I made for ourselves when we were in that stage of not-dating-yet-officially-but-I-want-to-hang-out-with-you-all-the-time-stage,

And one when Wolfgang and I first got married, mostly of places we want to visit, which is in his "goal book" somewhere.

I can't remember all of the ones I've already put in these previous lists, but I re-wrote the ones I could remember, and added a few. Some of them are ridiculous, some silly, and some definitely achievable. Here are just a few:

-Touch or "play" with a Killer Whale {yes, really.}
-Learn how to play the cello
-Get a Masters Degree
-Translate what someone is saying into a different language to someone else {make sense? it does to me}
-Read the entire Bible, cover to cover {guess I'm not a "true" Christian since I haven't done this...}
-Hike "Stairway to Heaven" on Oahu {can't believe we didn't do this while we were there. Oh well, an excuse to go back!}

What's on YOUR bucket list?

goals

Ok, don't judge, but I still haven't really sat down and solidified my "New Year's Resolutions," partially because I don't want to because they are all in my head and I think they are fine with just sitting there, and partially because I have a terrible memory (maybe I shouldn't rely on this whole "in my head idea afterall...") and partially because I'm just too lazy.

But, I HAVE come up with a few new goals of what I want to do while we are living in AZ, and here they are:

1-Brush up on my Spanish/Wolfgang learn Spanish
-Good thing Marriott ROCKS and gives their employees Rosetta Stone to their employees
for FREE! Whatever language(s) they want!
2-Visit the Grand Canyon, before it gets deathly hot
3-Go visit Mexico...but do some major research on where to go...I'm pretty sure "Rocky Point" isn't the same as it use to be when I was a child and we went several times.

I look forward to accomplishing these.

24...old?

We've had a delightful weekend, and I'm still not ready for another week!
And as a side note, we've done pretty decently good so far selling our stuff
one surfboard gone,
clothes/books/texbooks gone
and microwave, entertainment center, dvd player and (maybe more) "on hold" until the end of the semester,
it's a great start.

It drives us crazy though, not knowing where we'll be living in about 3 weeks. Wolfgang didn't get the job he was hoping for here on Oahu, so we've got one more opportunity here, and if that doesn't work out, off to the mainland we go! But no bites yet.

Anyway, back to the title of this blog...
since when is 24 yrs old, OLD? I've felt like a "seasoned" person lately.
Not feeling well, but not sick (if that makes sense),
my feet hurt all day yesterday...from NOTHING,
and today, my muscles around my thighs/hips are super sore...again, from nothing.

What's up with that? Maybe all the stress is finally taking a (weird) toll on my body.
We had a great lesson in church today that has helped me to have a new perspective on life and the things that I need to do. My goal is to get back to working out to release all my unwanted stress, I think it'll be good.

Bring on the new week! (ugh.)
