Hawaii Corner

Hawaii will always be a big part of our lives. It is the place where Wolfgang and I met, where we got engaged, and where we both graduated together with our Bachelors Degree from BYU-Hawaii.

Since our walls are quite bare, we decided to dedicate a section of our living room wall to Hawaii, by decorating it with some things we brought over when we moved. You can't really see the pictures very well, but they are the photography of the late Jon Mozo.

The bottom pictures isn't crooked as it looks here...

The top left hand picture can be seen better
here and the bottom right picture can be found here (click the button "Click to enlarge" on the website). {except it doesn't say his name huge right in the middle of it}

One day we want to have a large canvas on our wall of one of his pictures :)

Newlyweds again

Yesterday was the big move-in day to our new apt. It looks FANTASTIC!
IKEA made it in good timing with all our furniture; poor guys had to carry everything up 3 flights of stairs.

We feel like newlyweds moving into a new apartment, especially since this is the first time we've had to furnish an apartment,
...or did we never get out of the newlywed phase? I'd like to think so.

Either way, we'll have some pictures up soon.

living room- check.

Thank you, IKEA, for furnishing our new apartment's living room, while letting us stay within our budget. Please deliver our stuff in whole pieces.

Thanks

painfully uncreative

I'm constantly inspired by other people's creativity. And by inspired, I don't mean the kind where I jump up and say, "YEAH! I can do that!!" It's the kind of inspired that is like, "woah, that is SO cute!" think of how uncreative I am, then move on in my day and forget about it.

For church activities sometimes, they make and create things...I'm really glad they don't do it as much as they use to anymore, because I really didn't like them, cause it just reminds me of how creative other people are, and how painfully uncreative I am.

Well, hopefully sooner than later, we will be moving into a new apartment. I can't wait to (attempt) to decorate it and make it all cute...yet at the same time because of my awkwardness in creating, I'm scared to death.

I guess we'll just see how it goes when the time comes around!
