Since leaving school, I think I have lost some of my educated brain cells. Lately, I have found that I have been using bad grammar or bad spelling. A friend of mine called me out on my "oh the weather outside is freightful" post below. Yeah, it's frightful. In my defense, I'm not sure if I've ever spelled that word in my life? That might be a lie, but I seriously can't remember the last time I wrote/typed that word. I was on my phone and it doesn't have spell check, ok??
This is all mildly embarrassing, seeing that spelling errors are kinda one of my pet peeves, especially if they are easy words that you should have learned when you were in 3rd grade (your, you're, their there they're, "tomarrow"etc). It's even more embarrassing when it comes from people that are in education, or studying it.
Anyway, I'll work on it.

I can relate to the embarrassment, but there's a significant amount of research on spelling that indicates absolutely no correlation between intelligence and ability to spell. Truly intelligent people just use spell check (~5% of high school students). I could go on and on in my educational tone of superiority about the subject, but really all I want you to know is that I don't think any less of you :)
'tomarrow' is obnoxious, as is the various ways of spelling 'definitely'. defiantly is the worst offender, as it has a different meaning entirely. :)
ps. my word verification is 'exullent'... perfect timing, no?
