It's a pretty cool gadget, but yet I still like the feel of an actual book, and the feeling of accomplishment when you finish it.
So I've been trying to read more, and have been doing horribly. I've also found that I apparently have reading ADD- I've read half of two books (the last one located just to the right of this post) and became bored with them, even though they were both very good reads.
I attribute this reading ADD to the consuming technology/media era. I'm a victim. Hi, my name is Jaimie. (I think it's time to read "The Age of Missing Information"...)
So anyway, I just bought a new book last night at Borders.
(My book cover has Julia Roberts on it to promote the movie...)
(My book cover has Julia Roberts on it to promote the movie...)Usually, I buy everything on amazon because it's cheap, but I wanted to make sure I had a book to read on the plane.
Besides the fact that they made a movie from the book that will be coming out soon, two of my co-workers told me its a must read, so I bought it, and I'm excited to get going.
There are still a lot of books left that I want to read, but time is starting to run out; I hope to at least get a few more in before prison (when school starts again).
Happy reading.

I read it and liked it and I'm looking forward to the movie. p.s I've got the "eating" part down.
If you haven't already, you should try audio books. I know that makes a difference for some people.
No way! I just bought that book! I'm just beginning the part about India. Where are you at? I like it a lot so far, besides the fact that the author is sort of whoreish, disbelieves in marriage and motherhood, and...is a liberal *gasp*. (Sorry if you're a liberal...are you?)But despite all that I find he book most enjoyable.
